Carlyle Group Welcomes Jennifer Stratman as Vice President in Their Prestigious Real Estate Practice

Chicago, IL Jennifer Stratman has joined Carlyle Group’s real estate executive search team in the role of Vice President. A thirteen-year veteran of commercial real estate finance, Jennifer’s responsibilities as Vice President include client relationship management, search execution, and business development.  “Real estate is a dynamic, multi-faceted and tight-knit industry. I am gratified to join this experienced Real Estate search team because they are so well-respected for their industry expertise, as well as for their professionalism and more than 2 decades of successfully meeting their clients' expectations,” says Stratman.

Prior to joining Carlyle Group, Jennifer has held positions with large national banks (Nations Bank and Bank of America) and commercial credit companies (Heller Financial and Westinghouse Credit).  During her tenure with these organizations, Jennifer acquired extensive experience in originating, negotiating and underwriting value-added debt, mezzanine, credit enhancements and conduit loans on existing, to-be-built, transitional properties.  Additional areas of experience include credit, asset, portfolio and securitization management. 

Jennifer received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan with a concentration in Marketing and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh with a concentration in Finance. She is an active committee member of her local United Way.
