Carlyle Group Welcomes William O’Callaghan as Managing Director and Team Leader, Life Sciences & Healthcare

William (Bill) O’Callaghan has joined Carlyle Group’s Life Sciences & Healthcare practice in the role of Managing Director and Team Leader. Mr. O’Callaghan has extensive experience, specializing in serving clients in the medical device, diagnostic and equipment fields for the industrial and consumer products industries.

Prior to joining Carlyle Group, Mr. O’Callaghan worked in the Life Sciences and Healthcare practice for a major executive search firm. Early in his career, Mr. O’Callaghan was with the largest retail career consulting firm in the world where he was recognized for exceptional performance and leadership.

Mr. O’Callaghan holds a BA in economics from Rutgers University (College) and completed graduate level business courses at the University of Delaware. He enjoys speaking with college students about the job market and what they can expect as they begin their careers.
