Carlyle Group Welcomes Robert Majczan as Managing Director, Life Sciences & Healthcare

Robert (Bob) Majczan has joined Carlyle Group’s Life Sciences & Healthcare Practice in the role of Managing Director. Mr. Majczan specializes in executive recruitment services and human resources consulting to pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients. His experience includes global engagements and he is noted for his superior expertise in the healthcare industry.

Prior to joining Carlyle Group, Mr. Majczan was a Senior Client Partner in a Life Sciences Practice for a major executive search firm, where he provided expertise on healthcare organizations, human resources, and compensation for pharmaceutical and biotechnology client organizations.  Before that, he was vice president for a boutique search firm specializing in healthcare products. Mr. Majczan was with SmithKline Beecham and FMC Corporation’s pharmaceutical division before entering the executive search profession.

Mr. Majczan holds a BS degree in electrical engineering from Villanova University and an MBA in finance from the Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania.
