Carlyle Group Announces Jon Boba as New Vice President in their Real Estate Practice
Chicago, Illinois (November 1, 2006) - Jon Boba, the newest member of the rapidly growing Carlyle Group Real Estate Practice, serves as Vice President and has responsibility for client relationship management, business development and search execution. He brings more than twelve years of successful experience to his new role. Jon has completed several hundred search engagements nationally and internationally, representing a wide range of corporations, private firms and not-for-profits in the real estate and financial service industries.

Prior to joining Carlyle Group, Jon was a Director with Ferguson Partners. He was also a Vice President for EMH Financial, a Ferguson affiliate, where he was involved in the firm’s corporate finance and capital markets activities, while also serving as the firm’s General Counsel. Jon began his career at Carroll & Sain, where he practiced corporate, real estate and civil law.
Jon is a licensed attorney and broker in the State of Illinois. He is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties and the American Seniors Housing Association where he is a recognized speaker and author of several publications. Jon has developed a specialty in senior housing.
Jon received a Bachelor of Business/Economics from Wheaton College and his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law.
